Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of KaryaDesk at karyadesk.in and in the KaryaDesk Android app, operated by Umang Jain (“we”, “us”). By signing in, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
KaryaDesk helps professional offices track clients, work, due dates, notices, court cases, fees and payments. It is a record-keeping tool. It does not file returns, give tax or legal advice, or replace checking official portals, notices and orders yourself.
2. Accounts and offices
- You must sign in with an email address you control and keep your account secure.
- The person who creates an office is its owner. The owner decides who is added as staff and is responsible for removing staff who should no longer have access.
- You are responsible for all activity in your office.
3. Your data
You own the data you enter. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Download backups regularly from Office Settings → Backup.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use KaryaDesk to store unlawful content, to access another office's data, to disrupt the service, or to store passwords, OTPs or banking credentials.
5. Due dates and calculations
Due dates, reminders and totals shown in the app are aids based on the information you enter and general rules, which can change. Always verify deadlines against the applicable law, notice or order. We are not responsible for any penalty, interest or loss caused by relying only on dates or figures shown in the app.
6. Availability
We try to keep KaryaDesk running, but it is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable or change. We may add, change or remove features. If we ever decide to shut the service down, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data.
7. Fees
KaryaDesk is currently free. If paid plans are introduced, prices will be shown before you are charged, and you can choose whether to continue.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data that could have been prevented by keeping your own backups.
9. Ending use
You can stop using KaryaDesk at any time and ask us to delete your data. We may suspend access that breaks these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
